Vaccine/MicroChip Clinic

  • What: The Philadelphia Wings Present “Bark in the Bowl” – A Men’s Professional Lacrosse Game with Your Dog!
  • When: Saturday, March 22, 2014
  • Time: 7:30pm
  • Who: The Philadelphia Wings – Men’s Professional Lacrosse
  • Where: The Wells Fargo Center – Philadelphia
  • Why?: The Philadelphia Wings will transform the Wells Fargo Center into a “Dog House” for the game against the Toronto Rock. Philadelphia dog lovers and Wings fans alike are invited to bring their furry friend to “Bark in the Bowl” in celebration of Mad Dogs’ birthday.  A game ticket anywhere in the arena grants fans and their dog exclusive access to the upper level dog section, where they can cheer on the Wings and enjoy the company of other dog lovers.
  • What Else: Click here and select Bark in the Bowl as your ticket type.  Dogs are free, humans are $15. All Bark in the Bowl tickets are general seating to allow for space for dogs and owners where they are most comfortable.
  • De-TAILS:
    • Owner is fully responsible for dog’s actions and any damages or injuries that may result from dog.
    • Owner must have dog on a leash and stay with dog at all times.
    • The Wings will provide sitters for those times when the owner must leave the area without the dog.
    • Owner and dog must obey specific instructions provided by arena staff and may only access specific areas of arena with dog.

  • What: Yappy Hour! in Honor of National Puppy Day
  • When: Tuesday, March 25, 2014
  • Time: 5pm-7pm
  • Who: Camp Bow Wow & The Delaware Humane Association
  • Where: Camp Bow Wow 301 Ruthar Drive Newark, Delaware 19711
  • Why?: National Puppy Day and Yappy Hour event with the adorable adoptable puppies from the Delaware Humane Association!
  • What Else: Puppies adopted as a result of this event will be invited to a free puppy social on April 1, 2014.
  • De-TAILS:
    • Nail Trimming “How-to” workshop for $15 donation to Canine Cancer Fund
    • Ask the Trainer event
    • Complimentary refreshments

  • What: WOOFSTOCK at Bellevue State Park
  • When: Saturday, March 29, 2014
  • Time: 10am – 1pm
  • Who: Delaware SPCA
  • Where: Bellevue State Park
  • Why?: This is a great opportunity for pet owners to meet with the Delaware SPCA and their adoptable pets!
  • What Else: Woofstock is a Family Fun activity and will include a “Bellevue Barkers” parade, doggy demonstrations such as, agility, obedience and police dog training, a costume contest, games, music, food vendors, face painting and much more.  There will also be an “Adoption/Foster Zone” where the you can obtain “how to” information.
  • De-TAILS:
    • All dogs that attend “Woofstock” must be under control at all times by either crating or leashing.
    • Retractable leashes will not be allowed.
    • Leashes must be 6’ or less in length.
    • The programming department will offer educational information on how to keep your dog “safe” in the park.
    • Woofstock will be held rain or shine!


  • What: DHA’s 8th Annual Muttini Mixer
  • When: Saturday, March 29, 2014
  • Time: 7pm – 10pm (6pm – 7pm VIP Reception)
  • Who: Delaware Humane Association
  • Where: World Cafe Live at the Queen Theater
  • Why?: Don’t miss this great opportunity for you and your dog to mix and mingle with other DHA supporters and animal lovers while enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres, a 3-hour open bar, silent auction items and raffles, pet portraits by Daniel Maffett, caricatures by Funstrokes!, and music by ZJDJ Services.
  • What Else: Show your extra support for DHA by attending a VIP Reception with our special guest, artist and writer Karl J.  Keurner, III, while enjoying light refreshments, an extra hour of open bar, additional silent auction Iitems, and adoptable cats and dogs from DHA. Plus, K-9 Penn Dog Training Services will teach some lucky dogs and their owners new skills and tricks!
  • De-TAILS:
    • Dogs are welcome and must be on a leash.
    • Dressy attire is encouraged for dogs and their people.
    • No dog? It’s OK! Cat lovers and those without pets are encouraged to attend.
    • COST = $75 per person or $125 per person including VIP Reception
      • All proceeds benefit Delaware Humane Association and help us continue to carry out our mission.
